AIAA UAV Standards

AIAA currently has only one standard in UAV technology. Terminology for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Remotely Operated Aircraft (R-103-2004) seems like a nice basis for a comprehensive library of UAV standards. Should we leave the creation of UAV standards to other standards developers, or do AIAA members want to get involved in this important area to support the AIAA reputation as "the" place for space standards? What do you think?

JACIC Special Issue

The best papers from the Infotech@Aerospace 2007 conference will be considered for publication in a future special issue of the Journal of Aerospace Computing, Information, and Communication.
